Fethiye
We welcome you onboard Cheers Gulet at Fethiye Harbour at 16:00. After port formalities, we leave the bustle of Fethiye behind and cruise toward Göcek, where your Turkey blue cruise truly begins.
We’ll drop anchor in a beautiful, sheltered bay for your first swim. Then it’s time to unwind on deck with drinks while the crew prepares your first meal onboard, setting the tone for a relaxed Fethiye sailing holiday along Turkey’s stunning coastline.
Göcek Bedri Rahmi cove
After breakfast, we cruise to Bedri Rahmi Cove for lunch, one of the most memorable stops on a Göcek blue cruise. The bay is named after Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, the renowned Turkish painter and poet who, during a blue cruise in 1974, painted a fish mural on the rock face here. Since then, the cove has proudly carried his name.
You’ll have time to go ashore and photograph the famous artwork, then return to Cheers for a delicious lunch of freshly cooked Turkish vegetables, served with rice, bulgur wheat, pasta, and breads. After lunch and swim time, we continue to Binlik Bay for our overnight stay.
As the afternoon settles into evening, relax at the bow with cocktails while the crew prepares a tasty BBQ dinner, ready for a peaceful night at anchor on your Turkey gulet cruise.
Cleopatra Bay, Göcek
Breakfast is served in Cleopatra Bay (Hamam Bay), a beautiful pine-fringed anchorage where the water shifts from deep blue to bright turquoise as you near the shore. Be ready for a swim here, as this bay is famous for its sunken ancient ruins, with remains dating back to the 4th century BC. Local legend says Cleopatra bathed here on her honeymoon with Mark Antony, adding a touch of romance to this unforgettable stop on your Turkey blue cruise.
In the evening, we anchor at Merdivenli Bay. You can continue relaxing onboard Cheers, or take a gentle walk along the small beach to a nearby village with a handful of homes and friendly locals selling organic honey, homemade jams, and olive oil.
Kocabük Bay Göcek
Wake up to a delicious breakfast onboard, served with fresh fruit, breads, eggs, olives, and more. After coffee, enjoy time for a refreshing morning swim before we cruise on to Kocabük Bay.
As we sail through the Göcek region, take in the dramatic scenery of mountains and pine-covered slopes. On arrival at Kocabük Bay, you’ll be greeted by perfectly clear water, deep blue blending into bright turquoise along the shore, ideal for swimming and relaxing.
If guests request, we can stay overnight in this peaceful bay. For those who want to stretch their legs, there’s an optional short hike to a viewpoint above Kocabük, a great opportunity for holiday photos. Then return to Cheers for a freshly cooked dinner and a calm evening under the stars on your Turkey blue cruise.
Patara beach Kalkan
A longer cruise awaits us this morning as we set off at 05:00 to cross the gulf where the Aegean and the Mediterranean meet. We cruise alongside Patara Beach, a spectacular 12 km stretch of sand, creating a perfect sunrise moment for early risers watching from the deck.
We then anchor in Firnaz Bay for a delicious breakfast served onboard, with fresh fruit, breads, eggs, olives, and more. After our early start, the rest of the morning is yours to slow down, swim, and rest in the calm waters of Firnaz.
In the late afternoon, we cruise on to Yeşilköy Bay for a relaxed evening and our overnight stay, enjoying another peaceful night at anchor on your Turkey blue cruise.
Kalkan yeşilköy Kaş
Wake up to another freshly cooked breakfast in Yeşilköy Bay, then we cruise on to Hidayet Bay in Kaş. Hidayet Bay is a fantastic snorkelling stop with crystal-clear water and plenty to see. If you enjoy freediving, look out for a unique highlight: a military tank resting around 13 metres, placed as an artificial reef within this marine reserve area. On a calm day, it can be easily spotted even from the surface.
After lunch, there’s an optional scuba dive opportunity for those who want to explore more beneath the waterline.
We then dock at Kaş Harbour at 16:00 for an evening in town. Enjoy some shopping and a relaxed stroll through this charming coastal place. If you’re in the mood to explore, Kaş also offers impressive history, including Lycian tombs and a Hellenistic theatre with beautiful sea views toward the Greek island of Meis (Kastellorizo).
Aperlai Bay Kekova
At 08:00, we depart Kaş Harbour and cruise to Ufak Dere Bay for breakfast. After breakfast, we continue to Aperlai Bay, a peaceful anchorage with fascinating history. Aperlai is an ancient Lycian city, with ruins and remains scattered along the shoreline, making it a memorable stop on your Turkey blue cruise.
Here we take you ashore by dinghy, and your second captain will accompany you as a guide for a scenic walk across to the Sıcak Peninsula. You’ll rejoin the gulet at Sıcak Peninsula, and we anchor for the overnight stay at Sıcak Island.
After dinner, settle at the front of the boat for some stargazing. On clear nights you may spot shooting stars, and if conditions are right, you might even see the sea sparkle with bioluminescence lighting up the water.
Kekova Sunken City Simena Castle
After breakfast, we cruise into the legendary Kekova region to view the Sunken City, a specially protected area since 1990. This ancient settlement was partially submerged after earthquakes in the 2nd century. Swimming and diving are not permitted here, but from the deck you’ll have a clear view of the ruins along the shoreline and beneath the waterline as we glide past.
Next, we anchor near Kaleköy (Simena), where you’ll have time to explore the village and visit Simena Castle for incredible panoramic views. Along the way, you can browse small local stalls for fresh juices and souvenirs.
In the afternoon, we head to one of Kekova’s most picturesque anchorages, Karaloz Bay. Dinner is served onboard, and later we’ll take you ashore to enjoy a relaxed evening bonfire on the beach (where permitted) under the stars.
Kekova Gökkaya
After breakfast in Karaloz Bay and time for a swim, we cruise on to Buzagılık Bay, where you can experience a refreshing dip in natural ice-cold water fed by freshwater springs.
After lunch, we anchor at Gökkaya Bay for the evening. If you’d like to do water sports, this is one of the best spots along the route. Dinner is served onboard, and Gökkaya is also ideal for stargazing, with very little light pollution and beautifully clear night skies.
Later, there’s an optional short dinghy trip to Pirate Cave, where you may be lucky enough to see bioluminescence glowing green in the water like dancing light.
Demre Harbour
After breakfast, we anchor in Burç Bay for lunch. If weather conditions allow, we then set sail toward Demre Harbour, arriving by approximately 16:00. Demre is the final stop of the tour, and your Turkey blue cruise ends here.
