Fethiye-Boncuklu Bay
Welcome aboard Cheers Gulet at Fethiye Harbour at 16:00, where your Fethiye blue cruise begins. After the harbour master registration is completed, we set sail and cruise to the peaceful waters of Boncuklu Bay.
Here you’ll enjoy your first taste of life on board: a refreshing swim, time to relax on deck, and a freshly prepared dinner as the sun drops behind the coastline. We spend our first night anchored in Boncuklu Bay, a calm and beautiful start to your sail Turkey adventure.
Soğuksu Bay-Gemiler Bay
We depart Boncuklu Bay early at 06:30 and cruise to Soğuksu Bay for breakfast, followed by a refreshing morning swim in calm, clear water. After breakfast, there’s an easy 40-minute walk to Kayaköy, the atmospheric “ghost village” with roots dating back to the 14th century. You’ll have free time to wander its preserved stone streets and stop for a tea before we return to the gulet for lunch.
In the afternoon, we continue to Gemiler Bay for the evening. From here, you can optionally explore Gemiler Island, known for its remarkable Byzantine ruins including five churches built between the 4th and 6th centuries AD, a 350-metre processional walkway, and many other historical remains such as additional religious structures and ancient tombs.
As the day winds down, relax on deck in this picture-perfect bay and enjoy the sunset while dinner is freshly prepared on board—another unforgettable moment of your Fethiye sailing experience as you sail Turkey’s stunning coastline.
Kaş Town and Harbaour
Departing Gemiler Island at 05:30, we cruise south along Turkey’s stunning Mediterranean coastline, with breakfast served on board as the sea turns bright blue around us. After a refreshing swim stop, we anchor in Kaş Harbour, where you’ll have free time to explore this charming town, stroll the marina, and enjoy a little shopping.
Kaş also offers a touch of history for anyone who wants to look beyond the waterfront: you can spot Lycian tombs around town and visit the Hellenistic theatre, famous for its sweeping sea views toward the Greek island of Meis (Kastellorizo).
Later, we cruise to a beautiful nearby bay for sunset, dinner on board, and a relaxed evening. Sleep on deck under the stars if you’d like, or head to your cabin for a comfortable night’s rest as your Kaş blue cruise continues.
Aperlai
Start the day with a scenic coastal walk from Aperlai, an ancient Lycian settlement tucked into the Kekova region, heading toward Kızlar Bay. Along the trail you’ll pass the remains of Roman-era city walls, with sections and tower foundations still visible near the shoreline, a fascinating reminder of how this coast was once fortified and defended.
After a relaxed lunch on board and time for a refreshing swim, you can choose to take on a longer hike along a section of the famous Lycian Way, continuing on to Üçağız Village. It’s a perfect blend of nature, history, and turquoise-water downtime on your Turkey blue cruise.
Kekova-Kaleköy-Üçağız
After breakfast, we begin a beautiful Lycian Way walk from Üçağız to Kaleköy (Simena), following the coastline through one of the most atmospheric parts of the Kekova region. Kaleköy is an ancient settlement from the Lycian period (4th century BC) and is famous for its protected village character and impressive archaeological landscape.
After the walk, you’ll have time to explore Simena Castle, enjoy the views over the turquoise bays, and settle in for lunch. Later, we cruise to Gökkaya Bay for dinner and our overnight stay.
Don’t miss the night sky here: Gökkaya has very low light pollution, making it one of the best spots on the route for stargazing and clear, star-filled nights as you sail Turkey’s coastline.
Kekova-Kalkan
After breakfast in Gökkaya Bay, we cruise to the legendary Sunken City on the northern side of Kekova Island. From the deck, you’ll spot the partly submerged ruins of Dolchiste/Dolikisthe, an ancient settlement believed to have been damaged by earthquakes in the 2nd century. As this is a protected area, we pass slowly to give you the best views of the shoreline remains and the stonework beneath the waterline.
After our Kekova cruise-by, we continue toward Kalkan. You’ll have around two hours of free time to explore the town, stroll the harbour, and enjoy a café or a little shopping. Later, we return to the boat for a sunset cruise, dinner on board, and our overnight stay in a calm bay nearby—another perfect evening as you sail Turkey’s turquoise coast.
Butterfly Valley-Ölüdeniz-Fethiye
We leave early in the morning and cruise toward Butterfly Valley for breakfast. Because Butterfly Valley is in open, unsheltered waters, this stop is weather-dependent. If conditions are calm, we can anchor for around two hours, giving you time to swim in the clear sea and hike into the valley’s scenic natural gorge.
Afterwards, we continue along the coast to admire the famous turquoise of Ölüdeniz, then sail on toward Fethiye Harbour later in the day.
For the evening, you can choose between an overnight stay in Fethiye Harbour (ideal for a town stroll and shops) or anchoring in a quiet nearby bay for a more peaceful night, returning to Fethiye early the next morning for breakfast.
Fethiye
After a final breakfast on board, we’ll say goodbye at 09:00, ending your Fethiye blue cruise with unforgettable moments, turquoise-water swims, and incredible memories from your time on Cheers Gulet. Our crew will assist with disembarkation and help you get smoothly set up for your onward transfers.
